BRIAN MAYE - HEAD PERFORMANCE COACH
Brian is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, Pain-Free Performance Specialist, and EXOS Performance Specialist, who currently has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Biology from Shenandoah University where he played 4 years of collegiate soccer serving as team captain his senior year.
As a coach, Brian began his career in 2017 working with Shenandoah Elite FC in Winchester, VA, and continued on to become an assistant coach at Loudoun County (VA), Handley (VA), and Milford (DE) High Schools between the years of 2018-2022.
In 2020, he also served as an Assistant Coach at his Alma Mater Shenandoah University for two seasons where he helped lead the team to their first playoff appearance in program history.
As a player, Brian has been actively playing since he was 6 years old. In his 22 years of experience, Brian has competed at the recreational, travel, high school, and collegiate level.
He was also a member of the United States Soccer Developmental Academy, currently known as MLS Next, where he scored against D.C United in a U16 match up, and the Professional Development League (PDL) where he was coached by former West Ham United and Manchester City player Ian Bishop.
In high school, he helped the Herndon Boys Varsity Soccer team (VA) win the Concord District Championship, and was recognized as MVP with 1st team All-Conference and 2nd team All-Region honors.
At Shenandoah University, Brian was recognized as the first ODAC Player of the Week in program history in 2016.
In his experience as a trainer, Brian has trained athletes of all ages from youth to professional, and spent time running an assessment for D.C United’s Reserve Team, Loudoun United.
